HealthCare Support is actively seeking an Registered Respiratory Therapist to fill a permanent opening with a well respected healthcare provider in Abilene, TX.
Daily Responsibilities for Registered Respiratory Therapist:
- Respiratory therapists are responsible for assessing, treating, and caring for patients with breathing disorders. They develop and implement treatment plans, supervise therapy students and new graduates, perform therapeutic procedures, maintain patient records, and operate respiratory care equipment. Their role is crucial in managing respiratory conditions and ensuring patients receive comprehensive care.
- Shift: Full Time- Nights
- Registered Respiratory Therapist Credential NBRC
- State of Texas licensure in Respiratory Care
- Annual renewal of National Board for Respiratory Care active status for therapists subject to the Continuing Competency Program (CCP)
- Graduate Therapists must obtain CRT credentials and then test for RRT credential and NBRC Credential active status within 1 year of graduation. If RRT Credential is not obtained, will be placed into Respiratory Care Practitioner job position until RRT credential is obtained.
