HTS is seeking Occupational Therapists to join our team on a PRN basis to work in senior living communities located in Owensboro, Kentucky. Two facilities consisting of a senior living community offering skilled nursing and long-term care and also the secondary facility, specializing in dementia related diagnoses. The PRN OT will also have the opportunity to work at a community-based senior care center offering innovative support and care.

Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations and assessments for residents to determine their occupational therapy needs.
- Complete recertifications and discharge planning as required.
- Document progress notes and maintain accurate records of patient care.
- Provide skilled treatments and interventions on an as-needed, PRN basis.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate residents and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategies to improve daily living skills.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Kentucky.
- Experience working with elderly populations, particularly those with dementia, is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
Requirements
Applicants must have an active Kentucky Occupational Therapist license or must have the necessary qualifications to earn Kentucky license. These qualifications include a degree from an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy program, subsequent passing of the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT®) examination, and fulfilling the state’s requirements for licensure.
Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States. Proof of eligibility will be required upon offer of employment.
