Job Title: Endocrinologist
Job Summary:
A Board Eligible or Board Certified Endocrinologist is sought to join an established healthcare system in Chesterton, Indiana. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and be part of a collaborative team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting, with a flexible schedule from Monday to Friday.
- Conduct inpatient consultations and rounding at our state-of-the-art hospital, 1-2 times per week.
- Collaborate with a Certified Diabetes Educator and Registered Dietician onsite for comprehensive patient care.
- Work with EPIC electronic medical records to ensure accurate and efficient documentation.
- Manage common endocrine disorders, including Type 1 and 2 Diabetes, Insulin pumps, CGM, Primary Hyperparathyroidism, Hyperthyroidism, Hypothyroidism, Thyroid nodules and cancer, Hypogonadism, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, and Pituitary-Adrenal Disorders.
