Healthcare United seeks a Board-Certified IM Physician as Program Director for its Advanced IM Residency Programs in New Haven, Connecticut. Our programs excel in training physicians who positively influence patient's health at both individual and population levels.
Overview :
The Program Director ensures a thriving educational environment for residents and faculty
Ensures program accreditation per ACGME requirements and policies
Serves as Principal Investigator for HRSA Preventive Medicine Grant
Full-time role : 70% teaching / administration, 30% clinical as a hospitalist Job
Requirements
MD or DO from accredited medical school
Board-certified in Internal Medicine
Valid, unrestricted Connecticut medical license or eligibility
Valid DEA registration and Controlled Substance Certificate
Proven clinical education and leadership experience
