Job Description
Position Summary:
A Board Certified or Board Eligible Rheumatologist is sought to join an established single-specialty practice in Southwest Georgia. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience following fellowship completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert rheumatology care to patients in a clinic setting, Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with minimal call requirements.
- Precept medical students and residents as part of the opportunity to share knowledge and expertise.
- Pursue professional development and continuing education through simulation labs at the state-of-the-art medical education center.
Requirements:
- Completion of internal medicine residency and rheumatology fellowship.
- Board certification or eligibility, with a commitment to obtaining certification within 4 years if eligible.
- Georgia Medical License or participation in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact.
