Responsibilities
In order to meet the health care needs and improve the health status of people in the region, Norton Healthcare must have the people, the processes and the medical staff to deliver quality patient care, satisfy and exceed patient and physician expectations, an enable efficient clinical operations and strong financial performance. The incumbent will develop and maintain regional physician relationships in an effort to drive business to the NHC system, and will assist with the deployment of strategies and initiatives associated with regional efforts and alignment functions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Ensures existing relationships are maintained and needs are met through timely and strategic visits. Assures issues and concerns identified are addressed by accountable NHC resources. Executes service recovery strategies when necessary.
- Provides feedback of medical staff and hospital needs for the secondary and tertiary service areas. Promotes alignment with NHC services and service lines and the NHC Access Center to grow referral base and market share from secondary and tertiary service areas. Identifies opportunities and provides feedback to leadership for strategic coNSiteation.
- Identifies opportunities to increase referrals and new business for the division / facility based on strategic plan. Proactively builds new working relationships with non-employed physicians, providers, and specialists through strategic visits / contacts.
- Serves as an initial contact for providers in the region with the need to access NHC resources and services.
- Assists in the advancement and deployment of marketing strategies which promote NHC programs and services to the region.
