As an incoming OB hospitalist, you will be providing crucial support to Alaska residents, including Alaska Native communities. This role involves close collaboration with local obstetricians to ensure consistent, experienced care for every expectant mother who enters our facility. Our women and infant services unit offers a centralized location for maternal and newborn care, featuring a triage room that we plan to convert to an OB ED, a fully equipped operating suite for Cesarean deliveries, and additional capacity in the hospital’s 7-room OR down the hall.
Practice Details :
- Compensation : $3,800 per 24hr shift. $65k sign-on bonus.
- Benefits : Full employee benefits, including medical, vision, dental, and 401k.
- Schedule : 96 shifts per year (8 shifts / month).
- Partners : Exceptional in-house anesthesia, adult and pediatric hospitalists, and psychiatric teams. Backup midwives available when OB physicians are unavailable.
