The Eastern Oklahoma VA is seeking a full-time Board Certified / Board Eligible general Physiatrist / Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation specialist for inpatient coverage. Physiatrist is responsible for consultative and clinical care for eligible veterans as it relates to Rehabilitation medicine and the Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation Program (CIIRP Acute Rehab Inpatient) and clinical inpatient and outpatient evaluations / assessment / treatment, EMGs, therapeutic modalities, and collaboration with other clinical providers, etc. Administrative & Management skills preferred.
Duties include, but not limited to the following :
Providing Comprehensive TBI Evaluations and other Traumatic Brain Injury services for appropriate patients. Provides input to Chief of Service about matters pertaining to the Polytrauma / TBI clinic, and other areas as assigned by Chief of Service. Participate in other in-person clinics including EMG, procedure clinic / general physiatry, amputee clinic. Other duties as assigned depending on departmental need as determined by Chief of Service.
