Overview

Role Overview:

This role is responsible for the maintenance and improvement of a large health education content portfolio at Wellframe, and for the processes and systems that help the Content team meet on-time and in-scope deliverables to enable client, member, and company success. Reporting to and working closely with the VP, Content Operations to identify critical client deliverables and appropriate prioritization of projects for high business value. Additionally, this position includes direct supervision of the Clinical Content Development team. A successful Director, Content Operations will be a relentless advocate for our clients and users, demonstrate a deep understanding of our program design process and core team operational activities, and participate in creating value-driven process and product enhancements. Because you will contribute across many facets of our team's needs, you will need to be able to contribute to both the strategic and tactical, collaborate effectively across the organization, and demonstrate flexibility and strong problem-solving.

 

Areas of Responsibility:

  • Implement quality, standardization, and maintenance initiatives for Wellframe content (40%)
    • Lead initiatives to streamline review and maintenance of care program content elements.
    • Identify potential areas of risk within content and advocate for remediation.
    • Engage in the prioritization of improvement initiatives while balancing complex dependencies on collaborators and related client deliverables.
    • Contribute to content strategy and road mapping by partnering with cross functional teams to identify areas of opportunity.
  • Identify, prioritize, and oversee internal process improvement initiatives in regards to Content team communication, tools, and systems (30%)
    • Identify, prioritize, and guide content management system improvements and functionality.
    • Collaborate with Product on internal tool development and improvement from a process and scalability perspective.
    • Develop additional metrics and guardrails around team FTE capacity and time tracking.
  • Accountable for successful client implementations of Wellframe solutions and support client ongoing success as it relates to care programs (10%)
    • Continuous oversight of project deliverables to ensure on-time implementation and/or deliverables.
    • Support and refine client tracking processes and collateral development that can scalably support meeting client deliverables and the evolving nature of client implementations.
  • Ensure Wellframe content style and health communication standards are met to assure high-quality content (10%)
    • Ensure consistent use of Wellframe style, voice, formatting, health literacy, and plain language conventions in our content.
    • Coordinate style and health communications training of relevant team members and ensure ongoing communication of updates to our practice to relevant team members.
    • Responsible for maintaining appropriate readability and accessibility standards for Wellframe content.
    • Advocate for health communications-related improvement projects, including opportunities to improve accessibility for low health literacy populations and advancing health equity.
  • Direct supervision of the clinical content development team. (10%)
    • Prioritize simultaneous projects in development based on shifting team and company priorities, and lead project and systems managers in adjusting plans and communicating accordingly.
    • Ensure care program creation efforts support meticulous and comprehensive documentation of the development and testing of all care program components.
    • Ensure that programs are delivered on-time and in-scope to relevant stakeholders.

 

Education, Experience, & Skills Required:

  • Master’s degree in healthcare administration, public administration, public health, health communications, or a related field. Background in health communications preferred.
  • 7-10 years experience in project management. Experience in healthcare technology preferred.
  • 5 years people management experience, with proven success scaling and leading teams in a high-growth organization preferred.
  • Prior experience developing patient education or health literacy materials.
  • Experience working with diverse patient populations a plus.
