HealthEquity is hiring a Digital Operations Center Technical Lead in our state-of-the-art Draper, Utah office. The Technical Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Digital Operations Center and managing our off shore partnerships. This teammate will work independently with significant discretion and judgment and actively participate in major incident technical lead, ensuring optimal performance, handling complex monitoring and alert resolution, and providing technical guidance and oversight to our Digital Operations Center team.
What you’ll be doing (Job Duties & Responsibilities)
- Provide technical guidance to the Digital Operations Center team, and provide oversight of our offshore 24/7 operations team.
- Monitor network, system, and application performance using observability solutions and integrations for on-premise and Azure IaaS Cloud and provide complex technical leadership for incidents and outages.
- Identify problematic trends and collaborate with other teams to implement Automation and Self-Healing that meet business needs and improve performance.
- Develop and maintain documentation for Standard Operating Procedures, Operations Playbooks, and Knowledge Base articles.
- Drive technical site escalations to conclusion and provide training and mentorship to junior staff members.
- Performs system sizing, cost gathering, system purchasing, coordination of physical installation, OS installation and application configuration.
- Troubleshoots and resolves issues related to advanced networking, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, web and application servers, and Azure Infrastructure and PaaS Services.
- Create and develop advanced PowerShell Scripts.
- Perform root cause analysis for service interruption recovery; create preventative measures and present to management.
What you will need to be successful (Skills, Knowledge, & Experience)
- 4 years of direct experience in systems engineering with specific experience in Windows, Linux, and Azure Cloud.
- Expertise with offshore and nearshore IT Operations teams is preferred.
- Experience with Dynatrace is preferred.
- Experience in PowerShell or similar is required.
- ITIL certification is preferred.
- Knowledge of best practices in the areas of systems design, performance, security, scalability and maintainability is required.
- Expertise with outage and incident technical troubleshooting of complex network, system, infrastructure, and applications is required.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills at multiple levels. An awareness of business issues from incident and outage impact is necessary.
- Thorough technical knowledge in application and infrastructure methodologies, design, and problem solving is required.
Salary Range
$92000.00 To $110,000.00 / yearBenefits & Perks
The compensation range describes the typical minimum or maximum base pay range for this position. The actual compensation offer is determined based on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location.
