JOB OVERVIEW: The Inbound Sales Rep is responsible for receiving and handling high-volume telephone calls and live chats from customers contacting HealthFirst to place orders, inquire about products, and assist with related issues. This position recommends products to our customers to purchase and educates them on their features and our value propositions. In addition, the Inbound Sales Rep handles customer complaints, and coordinates with Customer Service on product returns complaint resolution. This position consults with managers to obtain approval on overriding product pricing, and to review restrictions on product shortages.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receives and handles telephone calls from customers calling to place orders, inquire about products, and assists with other related questions.
- Engages with customers and responds to inquiries via live chat.
- Handles customer complaints, typically regarding pricing errors or items on back order.
- Remains current in product knowledge, selling best practices, and industry trends.
- Documents all customer interactions including opportunities, sales and other pertinent information in CRM to provide an accurate record of account history and to manage a sales pipeline for achieving sales goals.
- Helps internal and external customers, navigate HealthFirst and find solutions to various problems.
- Works closely with customers, internal departments, and management as needed for problem resolution and/or process improvements to ensure effective and timely service for internal and external customers.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:
Typically, 2 or more years of inbound sales/customer service experience or equivalent.
PREFERRED EDUCATION: Typically requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Travel typically less than 10%. Virtual office environment. Minimal physical demands when travelling.
SKIL: Very good understanding of the job and apply knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks. Apply acquired knowledge of procedures and external regulations.
COMPLEXITY: Work on assignments that are moderately difficult and may require judgment and initiative. Understand implications of work and make recommendations for solutions. May be responsible for making independent procedural decisions.
SUPERVISION: Work under minimal supervision and may determine methods and procedures on new assignment

The posted range for this position is $18.97-$20.80 an hour which is the expected starting base pay for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including education, prior experience, training, current skills, certifications, location/labor market, internal equity, etc.
At the time of this posting, this position is eligible for an incentive plan not reflected in the posted range subject to the achievement of the plan.
