Duties and Responsibilities :
- Knowledge of the healthcare industry.
- 1 years medical billing required
- Strong analytical thinking.
- Excellent organizational, time management and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and issues at a time.
- Knowledge of latest collection principles and procedures.
- Strong Knowledge of ICD 10 codes
- Work independently with knowledge of payor medical policies, coding requirements and the ability to effectively read and understand payor explanation of benefits.
- Maintain good client relations and provide customer service in line with the issues and complaints raised by customers / clients.
- Work in accordance with the organization's standards, practices and policies, along with government regulations and standards.
- Work in coordination with all departments to meet organizational goals.
- Knowledge of payor portals
- General knowledge of government payors.
- Medicare experience a plus.
- High school or equivalent
