Description
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be using various strategies to find and attract applicants, ensure they meet set requirements, and efficiently coordinate with several stakeholders throughout the hiring process. You will manage a full cycle recruitment, from posting the position to assuring the new hire has completed all pre employment requirements. This position will work closely with the HR team, candidates, hiring managers.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Executes recruitment strategies to attract, screen, and hire quality healthcare professionals who meet the clinic sites and the department’s immediate and projected needs.
- Ensures candidates meet required hiring standards according to vacancy needs, skills, licensing and talent.
- Extends offer letters to selected candidates and negotiates the compensation.
- Maintains effective communications with all stakeholders affected by the hiring process.
- Monitors all pre-employment screening activities to include background checks, drug screens and employment verifications and addresses any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Works closely with the Credentialing Specialist to ensure each clinical new hire is properly and timely credentialed.
- Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies and social media.
- Attends open houses and arranges school visits to increase HealthLinc’s visibility in the relevant job market.
- Avoids legal challenges by understanding current employment laws, enforcing regulations with stakeholders, and providing training as needed.

Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Training
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources, or related field (preferred.)
Experience
- At least 1-3 years as a Recruiter, Talent Acquisition Coordinator or related position preferred.
- Working knowledge of federal and state respective employment laws preferred.
Skills/Job Requirement

- Ability to deal with stressful situations including difficult personalities.
- Knowledgeable of employment laws.
- Transportation and valid driver’s license.

- Operate a multi-line phone system and other office equipment including printers, fax machines, etc.
- Basic software skills (Microsoft Office, ATS, HRIS, etc.)
