What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director Programmatic Sales position at Healthline Media?
What You’ll Do
- Exceed revenue expectations within programmatic sales (PMP/PG/data partnerships)
- Develop and grow strong relationships on agency, client side and as appropriate agency trading desks and demand side platforms
- Present to clients and agencies on regular basis
- Set up and execute in person and virtual client events
- Work with programmatic operations, direct sales, and marketing to develop creative solutions and marketing packages that deliver against client’s marketing / business goals and minimize channel conflict with direct sales initiatives
- Travel to industry conferences for networking, client engagement and evangelizing the Healthline programmatic sales offering
- 5 years of digital pharmaceutical advertising sales experience and/or programmatic sales (ideal candidate will have experience in both)
- The ideal candidate will utilize a consultative sales approach that delivers insight and adds value to their client’s business resulting in lasting, long-term relationships
- Experience in presenting to and interacting with prospective customers is a must, anywhere from junior media planners all the way to C suite.
- Ability to sell through sometimes complex technical/operational concepts common to the programmatic and data landscape
- Strong understanding of the programmatic ecosystem (including DSPs, SSPs, DMPs, ATDs,) with relationships in the space especially within agencies, trading desks and DSPs
