SCM Workday Functional Analyst with Lawson Experience

Duration: Through April 2026 looking for candidates open to contract to hire potentially

Start Date: ASAP - 2 weeks from offer

Travel onsite as needed (when the team gets together)

The ideal candidate will possess strong functional expertise in Workday SCM, focusing on

system implementation, URR, optimization, and support. The consultant will collaborate with

business stakeholders, technical teams, and cross-functional partners to deliver Workday SCM

solutions that align with organizational goals and improve operational efficiency.

• Lawson Product Knowledge

• Lead or support the implementation of Workday SCM modules, including
  
  

Procurement, Inventory, and Supplier Management.

• Analyze and document business processes to identify opportunities for
  
  

optimization within the Workday platform.

• Configure Workday SCM solutions to meet business requirements and best
  
  

practices.

• Lead meetings, designing and testing Integrations
• Actively Participate in URR (User Readiness Review) and help develop test
  
  

scenarios.

• Requirements Gathering & Analysis
• Hands-on experience in cross-mapping Lawson data elements to Workday data

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, define, and prioritize requirements for
  
  

SCM processes.

• Translate business needs into functional specifications for system configuration or
  
  

enhancements.

• Stakeholder Collaboration
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Workday SCM functionalities and
  
  

provide guidance to project teams and stakeholders.

• Partner with technical teams to ensure seamless integration of SCM solutions with
  
  

other Workday modules and third-party systems.

• Testing & Support
• Develop test cases, conduct system testing, and support user acceptance testing
  
  

(UAT).

• Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting for SCM-related issues
• Training & Documentation
• Create user guides, training materials, and system documentation
• Deliver end-user training sessions to ensure effective adoption of SCM solutions
  
  

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience:

 Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Information

Technology, or a related field.

 Proven experience in implementing and supporting Lawson and Workday SCM

solutions.

 Deep understanding of SCM processes, including procurement, inventory management,

and supplier lifecycle management.

 Proficiency in Workday report writing, dashboards, and analytics for SCM.

 Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

 Strong communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.

Preferred Skills:

 Lawson Certification in Supply Chain or related module

 Workday Certification in Supply Chain or a related module

 Experience with Workday integrations and data migrations

 Knowledge of other Workday modules (e.g., HCM, Finance)

 Experience in a consulting environment or working with cross-functional teams.
