Job Summary:
The Front Office Coordinator for Cardiology in Scottsdale, AZ is responsible for coordinating patient care and ensuring smooth operations of the cardiology clinic. This pivotal role bridges the communication gap among staff, providers, and patients, thereby promoting high-quality, patient-centered care.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Patient Management: Greet patients upon their arrival, verify their personal information and insurance details, schedule appointments, and manage patient flow
- Administrative Duties: File patient records and manage office documentation to keep all patient's files up-to-date and confidential
- Communication: Facilitate effective communication among cardiologists, nurses, and other health care staff, ensuring extraordinary care delivery
- Appointment Scheduling: Schedule patient consultations, tests, and procedures. Uphold the system for monitoring patient wait times and maintaining efficient patient flow
- Billing: Generate invoices for services, manage the collection of insurance and billing information, and prompting payment for services when required
- Inventory Maintenance: Keep track of medical and office supplies, managing orders to ensure necessary tools are always available
- Quality Improvement: Suggest and implement ways to enhance efficiency and patient satisfaction within the clinic. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety guidelines
- Team Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the cardiology team, enabling them to focus on patient care
Other Requirements:
- 1 Year Minimum Healthcare Front Office Experience
