Join a thriving, well-established orthopedic practice specializing in shoulder and elbow surgery. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to step into a high-volume service with built-in support, making it ideal for both experienced surgeons and new graduates seeking a structured ramp-up.
- Clinic & Surgery Mix: Expect a balanced schedule of 2.5 clinic days and 2 OR days per week.
- Surgical Volume: You'll be backfilling a very busy service with established flip rooms and two highly trained PAs who assist in surgery. If experienced, you can step right in; if a new grad, a reasonable ramp-up is in place.
- APP Support: Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) handle all post-op care and rounding. The same team assists in the OR and brings extensive experience, ensuring seamless patient management.
- Call Schedule: Optional Level 1 trauma coverage at Banner Desert on weekends and rotating weekday nights—mostly handled by the ortho trauma team.
- Ideal Fit: The outgoing surgeon is highly regarded with excellent patient relationships. This is an opportunity to take over a well-respected, busy private practice role with strong infrastructure and support.
