JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION PURPOSE:
This position is for either an entry level Desktop Support Analyst. The person in the Desktop Support Analyst role is expected to learn HealthPartners’ devices and services while providing base support, and works closely with more senior analysts to develop the knowledge and skills needed to develop independence within the role.
ACCOUNTABILITIES for the Desktop Support Analyst:
Responds to desktop and end user incidents or service requests.
Participates with workstation and end user computing device installation and configuration activities.
Provides incident or problem diagnosis; ensuring workstation and end user computing device performance issues are resolved.
Partners with Desktop Support Analysts to support and maintain end user computing devices; e.g. workstations, badges, iPads, Point of Service devices, scanners, etc.
May participate on end user computing projects.
Must be able to be on rotational call 24 X 7.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE for Both End User Computing Analyst roles:
Ability to work independently
Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills
Demonstrates oral and written communication skills across a broad range of technical expertise
Technical troubleshooting and diagnosis capabilities
Knowledge of desktop support services
Strong customer service skills
Proven time management skills
Ability to be flexible on scheduled hours to accommodate various project dates and times
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS for Both End User Computing Analyst roles:
2-year college degree or equivalent experience
Current, valid, unrestricted Driver’s License (in the state of residence) free of major traffic violations or a pattern of repeated violations for the last 3 years and daily access to a reliable, insured vehicle.
Must be able to lift 20lbs.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS For Both End User Computing Analyst roles:
4 year college degree
