Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN has a full-time opportunity for a manager to join our Emergency Medicine and Critical Care team and make a difference for our patients and our community. The Manager of Emergency and Critical Care Professional Practice will be responsible for overseeing and supporting key components of the professional practice needs for the HPMG emergency medicine, and critical care physicians and advanced practice clinicians.
This role will provide direct supervision to several administrative support team members within the practices, including scheduling coordinator, and administrative assistant. This role will have primary oversight for the provider (MD and PA) scheduling process, monthly financial reconciliation for provider services, payroll reporting for provider hours, provider CME tracking, monthly and ad hoc practice management reporting, end of month financial analysis and review with leadership, and quarterly and annual provider compensation payouts. The Manager of Emergency and Critical Care Professional Practice will assist the Director with key client relationship management, evaluation of new or expanded service opportunities, strategic short- and long-term practice planning, project management and partner in the budget process for the professional practice.
Work schedule : M-F business hours, occasional evenings / early days to support role needs.
Required Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree.
- 3-5 years direct experience in provider (MD, PA, NP) practice management.
- Thorough understanding of expense and revenue accounting practices.
- Expert-level skills in spreadsheet (Excel) creation and manipulation to be used for monthly and ad hoc financial and operations reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve independently and analytically in a fast-paced environment.
