Job Description
The Patient Care Assistant works under the direction of a Registered Nurse to assist in delivery of patient care including personal hygiene and daily activities, transporting patients and equipment, setting up and maintaining patient rooms, and reordering/stocking of supplies. Responsible for coordination of communications and procedures for the nursing unit, process electronic orders and assembling patient’s charts and other necessities.
Work Schedule:32 hrs weekly / .8 FTE; 0.8 FTE. Days. 7am - 3:30 pm. Every weekend (potential to move to every other weekend as scheduling allows).
Required Qualifications:
o High school diploma or equivalent o HS Diploma in progress and Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry o Equivalent work experience in lieu of HS diploma or equivalent may be considered.
