What are the responsibilities and job description for the Per-Diem Registered Nurse - Float Pool position at HealthPartners?
Regions Hospital is looking to hire a Per-Diem Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool and make a difference for our patients and our community.
Float Pool RNs will work on a variety of inpatient clinical units, clinics, and specialty centers.
Med/Surg RN’s will care for patients in orthopedics, rehabilitation, oncology, cardiology, observation, medicine, neurology, surgical, trauma, burn, and postpartum.
Progressive RN’s will care for progressive patients in cardiac, medicine, burn, trauma, neurology, and surgical.
ICU RN’s will care for patients in all of the above areas and patients needing critical care in one of our 4 ICU units: SICU, MICU, CCU and Burn ICU.
We are known for saving lives in our Level I Trauma Center, and our nursing staff are key to the exceptional care we provide each patient. Our Professional Nursing Practice Model offers patient and family-centered care that maintains an unwavering focus on what matters most: caring and healing at the patient’s bedside. As a nursing professional you will be empowered to manage your clinical practice and working environment through our Shared Governance Model, which focuses on evidence-based nursing practice. Regions Hospital supports nurses with an individualized orientation including Transition to Regions Hospital Practice program which is a nurse residency structured program to support learning, role transition, and retention of nurses. All new hire registered nurses at Regions Hospital will be automatically enrolled. Our award-winning programs give our patients and their families a place of comfort and healing. Work Schedule: Per-Diem
Required Qualifications:
•Degree in Nursing
•Licensed as a registered nurse by the State of Minnesota
•CPR for the professional rescuer or BLS for healthcare providers
Preferred Qualifications:
•BSN/MSN strongly preferred and generally expected that BSN/MSN is obtained within 5 years of hire
•One year of acute care RN experience is preferred
