What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pickleball Coach position at Healthplex Associates, Inc.?
Come join a great health and wellness club as a Pickleball Coach in our Indianapolis, IN location. The Pickleball Coach is responsible for providing giving Pickleball instructions to groups and individuals that include a diversified member population by performing the following duties.
- Develops a curriculum for adults and children to ensure the best possible experience within the Pickleball department
- Teaches Pickleball in a fun, safe and challenging manner. The curriculum must be designed to provide an effective teaching of the fundamentals of Pickleball play.
- Inspects the Pickleball department to ensure lighting, temperature, sound system and equipment are all in top working condition. Reports problems and takes appropriate action.
- Participates in planning, marketing and providing activities designed to increase Pickleball department revenue such as member appreciation events, member social, and other events within the community.
- Maintains a daily log of clinic attendance, lessons, leagues, and special events.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education/Training
Health or fitness related undergraduate degree in an Exercise Science or health/fitness related degree program preferred, thorough knowledge and experience in the instruction of Pickleball.
Must have Basic First Aid and AED training.
Experience
Experience in the instruction of Pickleball programs required.
Licenses & Certifications
AFAA or IDEA certified is preferred but not required.
CPR Certification
