Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a variety of medical settings, including Level I and Level II Trauma Centers, urgent care, emergency medicine, dermatology, and outpatient services. This role is essential in providing high-quality patient care and administrative support within our facility.
Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures in various departments including OR and urgent care.
- Perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting with minor surgical procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper coding for billing purposes.
- Provide medical administrative support by scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and handling insurance verifications.
- Educate patients on treatment plans and provide instructions for follow-up care.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant in a hospital or outpatient setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with emergency medicine protocols and practices is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of medical coding practices is a plus.
- Experience working in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
