SENIOR HEALTH DATA ANALYST
Health Data Analyst Position Summary:
This individual functions in a collaborative manner with all organizational disciplines to improve outcomes for the community through reduction in total cost of care, improvement in quality of care and patient engagement. Position reports to the Vice President of Outpatient Services, who provides administrative supervision. Schedules, assignments, and evaluations will be provided by same.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsibilities include monitoring, collection, analysis, and reporting of all pertinent data findings as determined by the departments/divisions including:
- Root cause analysis
- Logic model evaluation and ongoing enhancements
- Compare outcomes to other providers
- Evaluate implementation of CCBHC and model
- Evaluating Breathe, Eat, and Sleep nudge interventions
- Participate and Present in Team meetings
- Identifies opportunities to improve patient outcomes, safety, and quality, and actively supports the organizational vision of providing exceptional care.
- Maintain total confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA law, CARF accreditation standards and Maryland State Regulations.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications, Education and Experience:
- Master’s degree in healthcare administration, business or data analytics required.
- Two years’ experience working with health information systems and health claims data required.
- Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite is required.
- Experience working with CRISP Data system, EHR, Tableau, data management programming languages, and SQL preferred.
- Experience within Population Health, total cost of care reduction strategies, value- based models, and knowledge of public behavioral health systems is preferred.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
