Position Overview
As a Solution Executive, Digital Sponsorship, you will be responsible for identifying and pitching digital sponsorships and content integrations that enhance the experiences of the millions of healthcare professionals who regularly use our highly rated mobile apps and websites. You will create and propose innovative sponsorship packages, negotiate deals, and build strong relationships with key decision-makers. Your role will focus on driving revenue growth through the development and execution of strategic brand partnerships and sponsorships.
HealthStream owns the #1 rated and most adopted app for nurses – Nursegrid – the leading application engaging clinical students – myClinicalExchange – and numerous other websites that engage millions of nurses, allied health professionals, and physicians. Building from our base of medical technology brands that work with us to distribute value-added content & learning experiences across our network, we are looking for a self-starter to lead the expansion of brand partnerships to new categories of endemic sponsors.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for adhering to all HealthStream security policies, procedures, and assigned training.
- Drive sales for media offerings, including digital experiences, digital ads and listings, sponsored content, whitepapers, and newsletters; Secondarily, develop and execute a sales strategy for flagship digital and live events, including webinars, roundtables, conferences
- Present creative marketing solutions that help brands and their marketing agencies leverage HealthStream’s network of apps and sites along with its social channels
- Deliver campaign effectiveness reports to clients, including reach, traffic, engagement, lead generation, and ROI/ROAS.
- Build long-term relationships with clients, ensuring renewals and upselling opportunities
- Network at healthcare industry events to identify new opportunities and connect with potential sponsors
- Collaborate with internal teams to align sponsorship packages with client goals and company sponsorship policies
- Maintain a robust pipeline of prospects through CRM systems
- Provide exceptional post-sales support to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business
- Structure, price, successfully negotiate and close deals that will enable sponsors to meet their stated goals and keep you tracking to budget.
Qualifications
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales in B2B and B2C digital media sales; experience in healthcare is a plus
Qualifications
- This role requires experience in digital sponsorships and digital advertising
- Proven ability to develop creative sponsorship pitches that win business
- Strong negotiation skills
- Experience in structuring sponsorship offerings that are within the company’s execution capabilities and meet targets for engagement and profitability
- A track record of success in sales, with a strong ability to build and maintain relationships
- Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions
- Self-motivated and team-oriented individual with a passion for driving revenue growth
- Develop deep understanding of solutions, including target audience, value proposition, ROI as well as all technical aspects and the why behind them
- Manages activities for multiple concurrent and complex projects with the appropriate prioritization and focus
- Appropriately influences cross-functional team members without formal authority or management control
- Establishes high level of trust and credibility internally and with customers
- Ability to communicate well with all levels of personnel.
- Highly driven to achieve personal and team quota goals.
- Ensure attention to detail needed to deliver quality communication and responses to customer and team questions
