Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced care for patients undergoing cardiothoracic and cardiovascular procedures
- Assist surgeons in the operating room and during pre- and post-operative care
- Perform comprehensive assessments and manage treatment plans
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and prescribe medications within the scope of practice
- Educate patients and families about procedures, recovery, and long-term care plans
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Cardiovascular or Cardiothoracic Surgery
- Valid National Provider Identifier (NPI) in the state of Georgia (GA)
- One of the following active licenses/certifications in Georgia (GA):
- Nurse Practitioner (NP)
- Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C)
- Current BLS and ACLS certification
- Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
