Our client is a leading provider of Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC) Services, dedicated to delivering compassionate and individualized care to children with complex medical needs. They partner with families, physicians, and referral sources to create personalized treatment plans, fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment that supports children in reaching their full potential.

POSITION SUMMARY

Our client is seeking a Director of Business Development to oversee growth initiatives. This role focuses on generating leads, identifying opportunities, and fostering relationships with referral sources, physicians, hospitals, and community organizations. The Director will work closely with leadership to secure new admissions and ensure patient satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive revenue growth by increasing referrals from physicians, hospitals, and community organizations.
  • Collaborate with facility operations to design and implement strategic marketing plans to support growth.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the facility and the community, families, and referral sources.
  • Manage the pre-admission process by explaining program details and admission criteria to new referrals and referral sources.
  • Plan and lead special activities and programs within the center to facilitate growth and increase census.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community groups, referral sources, and other key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and execute marketing activities, including community outreach and media / public relations, to enhance the programs public image.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • 23 years of experience in sales or business development.
  • Homecare or medical sales experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience as a clinical liaison or in a hospital setting is a plus.
  • Familiarity with admissions and marketing within skilled nursing facilities.
  • Proven ability to cross-sell across multiple service lines.
  • Experience working with physicians and the medical community.
