Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Technician Job Description
This is a unique opportunity for a skilled Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Technician to join our team at HealthTrust Workforce Solutions CHS. The successful candidate will have a strong background in endoscopy and experience working with complex ERCP and EUS-guided biliary and pancreatic ductal interventions.
Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians with advanced endoscopic procedures, including double balloon enteroscopies and endoscopic submucosal dissection.
- Maintain accurate records of scope and instrumentation maintenance.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advancements in gastrointestinal endoscopy.
- Collaborate with the Florida Hospital Laser Safety Officer to provide annual safety in-services for Endo staff.
Requirements:
- Minimum two years' experience in endoscopy or a comparable healthcare role.
- Strong understanding of gastrointestinal endoscopy principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
