Travel Nurse RN Med Surg Job in Sahuarita, Arizona
We are seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN Med Surg to join our team for a 13-week assignment in Sahuarita, Arizona.
Job Summary:
- Specialty: Medical-Surgical (Med Surg)
- Discipline: Registered Nurse (RN)
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a PCU/Telemetry setting and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with varying patient needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state regulations and hospital policies.
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care.
- Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and training.
- Delegate patient care priorities based on staff availability and expertise.
- Supervise and direct assigned personnel in delivering patient care.
Requirements:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- AZ license
- Minimum 2 years of experience in PCU/Telemetry
- Ability to work 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
Working Conditions:
- Ratio: 6 patients to 1 nurse
- 12-hour shifts, days
