Travel Nurse RN ED - Emergency Department
We are seeking a skilled travel nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department.
Job Description:
The Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to Emergency Room patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient outcomes
- Demonstrating critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care
- Maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education and adhering to hospital policies and procedures
- Delegating patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of staff available
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience as a registered nurse in an Emergency Department setting
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
- Able to work 12-hour shifts, nights, weekends only (Fri-Sun)
- Shifts: Nights, 7p - 7:30a, Weekends ONLY, Fri-Sun
Work Environment:
- Emergency Department setting with 12 beds
- Patient ratio: 1:4-6
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system: EDIS/Medhost
Compensation:
$75/hour rate approved, with tax-free stipend amount to be determined based on pay package.
