Travel Nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate travel nurse to join our team as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The ideal candidate will have experience in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on critical thinking and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate patient care and develop individualized plans of care.
- Administer medications, perform medical procedures, and operate medical equipment as needed.
- Monitor patient vital signs, lab results, and other relevant data to identify potential complications and adjust care accordingly.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Florida.
- At least 2 years of experience as an ICU RN, with a focus on critical care.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, nights, and rotate weekends/holidays as needed.
