Job Summary and Qualifications

As an Item Data Steward, you will provide critical support managing and loading contract details and contract & non-contract items for a dedicated account. This will include pricing and tier participation into the member’s supply chain systems. This role is responsible for meeting member SLAs and SOWs regarding timelines and quality. Decisions made and actions taken directly impact the member’s operations including financial results, price discrepancies, compliance, etc.

Major Responsibilities:

• Provide support to a strategic member to manage their item master, contracts and pricing in their supply chain systems
• Interact and collaborate directly with the member’s corporate supply chain leaders and facility staff and must build strong relationships
• Review and evaluate HealthTrust contracts & pricing and determine best options for loading into the member systems
• Maintain established SLAs and SOW regarding timelines and quality
• Perform requested master file additions and changes in accordance with policies accurately and timely
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of member’s supply chain operations, systems and processes
• Maintain member confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential
• Research and complete special projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor or others in a timely manner
• Produce files, reports, and analysis as required by member
• Collaborate with other internal teams with particularly strong connections to the Item Master team and price discrepancy team to ensure member’s expectations are being met
• Maintain proficiency with applicable HealthTrust and member systems

What you will need for this role:

• High school diploma required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3-7 years equivalent experience
• Proficient in excel (particularly v-look up and pivot tables)
• Healthcare supply chain and product knowledge a plus!
