SUMMARY : The Pharmacy Technician performs all tasks related to processing received prescriptions. They are responsible for accurately transcribing prescriptions into pharmacy software while adhering to the compliance of each state and / or federal guidelines. This is an onsite position in Florence, KY 41042 .
Essential Functions
- Onsite pharmacy technician (PTCB and non-PTCB positions available)
- Enter prescriptions accurately into pharmacy software, allocate inventory and comply with state and federal guidelines
- Make and receive phone calls from prescriber offices and patients
- Fulfill prescription orders : counting, labeling, packaging and shipping
