Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Healthwaze. As a Nurse Practitioner with this role, you will provide comprehensive care for adults, focusing on wellness and chronic disease management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working with Medicare Advantage patients and managing adult patients.
This is a Monday to Friday schedule with no on-call duties, providing a great work-life balance. You will split your time between our office and a Skilled Nursing Facility, giving you a refreshing change of pace throughout the week. Your average patient volume in the office will be 12-15 per day, and you will collaborate with 1-2 other providers in the clinic, supported by Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs).
You will be responsible for managing adult patients and providing wellness and chronic care disease management. Strong clinical skills and excellent communication and collaboration skills are required. A Florida state medical license is also necessary. Managed care experience and comfort with EMR are pluses. DEA and BLS/ACLS certifications are required.
