Responsibilities and Qualifications:
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Healthwaze. Key responsibilities include providing comprehensive care for adults, focusing on wellness and chronic disease management. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Medicare Advantage patients and strong clinical skills.
This is a Monday to Friday schedule with no on-call duties, providing a great work-life balance. You will split your time between our office and a Skilled Nursing Facility, giving you a refreshing change of pace throughout the week. Your average patient volume in the office will be 12-15 per day, and you will collaborate with 1-2 other providers in the clinic, supported by Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs).
The qualifications for this position include a Florida state medical license, experience working with Medicare Advantage patients, and strong clinical skills. Managed care experience and comfort with EMR are pluses. DEA and BLS/ACLS certifications are necessary.
