Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Healthwaze. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Medicare Advantage patients and a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
This is a Monday to Friday schedule with no on-call duties, providing a great work-life balance. You will split your time between our office and a Skilled Nursing Facility, giving you a refreshing change of pace throughout the week. Your average patient volume in the office will be 12-15 per day, and you will collaborate with 1-2 other providers in the clinic, supported by Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs).
Your key responsibilities will include providing comprehensive care for adults, focusing on wellness and chronic disease management. Additionally, you will need to manage adult patients and provide wellness and chronic care disease management. Strong clinical skills and excellent communication and collaboration skills are required.
The qualifications for this position include experience working with Medicare Advantage patients, ability to manage adult patients, and strong clinical skills. A Florida state medical license is also required. Managed care experience and comfort with EMR are pluses. DEA and BLS/ACLS certifications are necessary.
