Position: Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient Orthopedics
Location: HealthWorks Rehab & Fitness in Buckhannon, WV
Specialties: Neuro, vestibular, concussion, sports medicine, oncology (ReVital) and Post Offer Employment Testing (POETs)
Schedule: Full Time (32hr. ), Part time, and/ or Per Diem
Our HealthWorks Rehab & Fitness outpatient orthopedic center is seeking a licensed physical therapist assistant (PTA) to provide top-notch patient care to patients of all ages and abilities. Our highly trained and respected clinical team provides treatment services that maximize functionality and promote the best optimal outcomes for our patients. We take pride in creating an exceptional patient experience, helping all of our patients get back to athletics, work, life, and the things they love.
Our clinical team is able to consider licensed PTA of all experience levels. We can offer an onsite mentorship with support.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
- Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
- Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
Qualifications
- College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
- Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
- Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
- CPR certification
