Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized, friendly, and professional Nutritionist Dietitian Assistant with a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition to join our team at Healthy All Time Nutrition. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors while offering exceptional customer support. This role includes assisting with meal plan creation, commenting on clients' food journals, supporting InBody and RMR testing, and making handouts for nutritional education. Experience in the nutrition or medical field is preferred, and bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist clients and visitors in a warm and professional manner.
- Provide information regarding nutritional services and assist clients before consultations.
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars for staff members.
- Assist with nutritional consultations and offer guidance where necessary.
- Help create personalized meal plans for clients under the direction of the Registered Dietitian.
- Comment on clients' food journals, providing feedback and suggestions to improve their nutritional habits.
- Assist with InBody and RMR testing, ensuring clients understand the process and results.
- Make educational handouts and resources for clients on topics like healthy eating and nutrition tips.
- Manage patient and client records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of personal and financial information.
- Process payments from clients, including collecting copays and balances.
- Verify insurance information and obtain consents for consultations.
- Answer phone calls and emails, providing timely responses and directing inquiries as needed.
- Maintain an organized front desk area, ensuring all materials are stocked and presentable.
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and document preparation.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations within the clinic.
- Follow office policies and procedures, reporting any issues or needed changes.
- Ensure a friendly and professional environment for all clients and visitors.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Nutritionist, Dietitian Assistant, or in a similar role is preferred.
- Experience in the medical or nutrition field is an advantage.
- Proficiency in English; additional language skills (Arabic/Spanish) are a plus.
- Strong customer support skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in calendar management and office software applications.
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
