Esthetician

SUMMARY The Esthetician will have a deep understanding of skincare techniques, product knowledge, and excellent customer service skills and understands an array of modalities. The Esthetician will be responsible for providing high-quality facial treatments tailored to each client's individual needs and concerns. This position will also be responsible for educating clients on proper skincare routines and recommend products to enhance their at-home regimen. You will have a passion for health and wellness and enjoy emanating this lifestyle and sharing it with others. The Esthetician is social and energetic, and is interested in growing our spa customer base by providing the nurturing, healing, thriving, and empathetic environment that invites trust and receptivity in our clients.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Perform various facial treatments, including deep cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, mask application, brow lamination, lash lifting, and brow tinting and waxing.
• Perform facial massage, and light chemical peels.
• Has a continued interest in current trends in beauty, skincare, and its technologies.
• Evaluate clients' skin conditions and recommend appropriate treatments.
• Educate clients on skincare techniques and recommend products for home use.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Uphold spa cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business and referrals.
• Enthusiastic and contributes both to an amazing spa experience and work environment

OTHER DUTIES

Assimilate into The Love.Life culture through understanding, supporting, and participating in all elements of company core values and tenets. Demonstrate working knowledge of the service standards.

Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by Love.Life from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Attendance standard for salaried exempt team members is dedicating adequate time to fulfill the duties outlined in this job description equal to, or more than 40 hours per workweek.

Due to the cyclical nature of the industry, team members may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the needs of the business.

JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

This Esthetician must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities to demonstrate they can perform the essential functions of the job, along with the physical requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Proven experience in performing facials and other skincare treatments.
• Proven experience in performing brow laminations, lash lifting, and brow tinting/waxing.
• Excellent knowledge of skincare products and ingredients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED

• State-issued esthetician license.
• 2 years experience working as an esthetician
