What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Care Coordinator/Medical Assistant position at Healthy Feet Podiatry?
As a patient care coordinator and MA you will be floating in between the positions at our Brooksville location.
Our Brooksville office is open Monday-Thursday 8-5. There is the option to come in and help with phones on Fridays 8-5.
After 90 days you are eligible for Insurance and PTO.
The position of the patient care coordinator involves creating appointments, verifying insurances, checking patients in and out, answering phone calls, and collecting payments from patients.
We are a busy multi-office podiatry practice with 7 doctors that rotate throughout the offices. This means this position is fast paced and often requires multitasking.
This position also requires you act as a medical assistant assisting our doctors. In this position you would be setting up for procedures, taking x-rays (we provide the training and certification), cutting toenails, drawing up injections, and cleaning exam rooms. Podiatry experience is not needed, but is a plus.
