What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Referral Coordinator position at Healthy MD?
CORE JOB SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Manager, Patient Services, the Patient Services Representative will serve as the first point of contact between HealthyMD and our patients. They will also serve as auditors for our clinics.
CORE JOB FUNCTIONS
- Answer callers inquire via inbound calls/tele health
- Transfer patients that need immediate medical attention to the Site Manager, depending on location
- Performs data entry using the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system
- Handles sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality
- Requires a professional and interpersonal skill to interact with clients, healthcare professionals, and staff via phone, email, fax, etc.
- Works and completes tasks in an EMR in a timely manner Perform standard operations procedures as outlines by HealthyMD.
- Performs other related duties and responsibilities as necessary by your supervisor

CORE QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Certification and Licensing:
N/A
Experience:
At least 1 year of customer service experience
Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to interpret medical data essential.
- Ability to function independently, attend to detail, work under pressure, and prioritize multiple projects.
- Strong public relations abilities; professional appearance, attitude, and motivation essential.
