What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Veterinary Technician position at Healthy Paws Veterinary Clinic?
Friendly, hard-working, reliable team player wanted! Healthy Paws Veterinary Clinic, a well-established and family-friendly small animal clinic, is growing and looking for certified veterinary technicians to round out our team! We are a high-quality, multi-doctor practice that prides itself with an enjoyable working environment, great leadership, and excellent support staff. This is a full-time position (avg. 32-40 hours/4 days a week, with no evenings or weekends), though part-time may also be considered. While our CVT's are primarily staffed at our main location in Sheboygan Falls, we have recently expanded with a satellite wellness clinic in Sheboygan as well.
Your most important job is to present Healthy Paws Veterinary Clinic in the best manner possible and to help us build long lasting relationships with our clients. Duties include a rotation between our laboratory CVT, pharmacy CVT, and surgical CVT. We utilize our technicians to their full abilities and encourage you to be fully involved in anesthesia, client communication, and patient handling. This is a fast-paced clinic, so we are looking for a candidate who is detail orientated, can multi-task, and who excels in client communication. We look forward to adding a strong candidate to our team who can help us provide a high level of customer service while we strive to practice with a high standard of care for our veterinary patients. Healthy Paws is continuing to make efforts to improve our Fear Free handling in a low stress setting for our patients.
Priority will be given to applicants with experience working in a veterinary clinic, but we will train the right candidate who may be either currently attending a CVT programs, or preparing for a career after graduation. Benefits also include paid CE and licensing fees.
We are excited to grow our team with a CVT who can help us "become better tomorrow than we are today." Healthy Paws has been voted "Best of Sheboygan County" for the past three years and we continue to live that mission for our clients and staff every day.
