WHAT YOU'LL DO:
As our Marketing Events Coordinator, you’ll be crucial in building and strengthening our community presence. You’ll be responsible for planning and executing fun and engaging events, managing our team of Community Creators, and ensuring that every Healthy Spot event is a tail-wagging success!
🐕 Event Planning & Execution (30%)
- Work with our Community Marketing Manager to brainstorm and plan exciting in-store and external events.
- Research and secure top-tier vendors that align with the Healthy Spot brand.
- Own event logistics, from Run of Show to packing lists and scheduling Community Creators.
🐩 Team Leadership (30%)
- Lead, train, and manage our Community Creators, ensuring they shine at every event.
- Provide hands-on leadership during set-up, execution, and tear-down of events.
- Develop training materials to empower new Creators with the skills they need to succeed.
🐾 Communication & Collaboration (20%)
- Be the bridge between Healthy Spot locations, event vendors, and internal teams.
- Keep everyone in the loop on event details, from store teams to service departments.
- Ensure every event is a seamless experience for our furry friends and their humans.
📊 Event Reporting & Logistics (15%)
- Track and submit event reports to ensure data-driven decision-making.
- Manage community marketing materials and supplies at our warehouse.
- Provide administrative and project support to the Community Marketing Team as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
✅ 2 years of experience in event coordination and brand ambassador management.
✅ A creative, detail-oriented problem solver with a knack for organization.
✅ Someone who can confidently drive a large van through the city (you’ll be on the move!).
✅ A natural leader who can manage a team, make quick decisions, and bring energy to every event.
✅ Someone comfortable in the spotlight – willing to appear in pictures/videos to promote Healthy Spot.
✅ A social butterfly who can connect with a diverse community and make every pet parent feel welcome.
✅ Must be able to lift and set up event materials (this is a hands-on role!), and have a valid drivers license to lead onsite events.
✅ Must be comfortable with a Wednesday through Sunday work schedule.
✅ Must be available to work onsite at our Torrance Warehouse when necessary.
