Responsibilities :
Provide front and back office medical assistant support including but not limited to patient care, filing, scheduling, registration, insurance verifications, and patient referrals.
- Organizes and maintains a filing system for patient charts, including filing and pulling charts
- Greets patients and visitors
- Initiates a triage for response by medical personnel
- Registers, verifies and updates patient records
- Provides exceptional customer service, responds promptly and appropriately to customer needs
- Maintaining office and medical supplies
- Handles physician requests in a timely manner
- Prepares and sanitizes rooms
