The Clinical Property Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repairs, tenant improvements and regulatory compliance for HealthyU existing clinics while supporting the facility needs of future acquisitions. This role ensures all clinical locations operate efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with healthcare regulations, building codes, and industry best practices. The Clinical Property Manager collaborates with clinical leadership, compliance teams, and external vendors to maintain high standards in healthcare facility operations.
- Facility Management, Maintenance & Compliance :
- Oversee day-to-day property management for all clinical locations, ensuring a safe, functional, and compliant environment for patients and staff.
- Manage and coordinate repairs, preventive maintenance, and emergency response for facility-related issues, with a focus on minimizing operational disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare facility regulations, including :
- OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards for workplace safety.
- HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) compliance in facility design and maintenance to protect patient privacy.
- ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) accessibility requirements for clinic spaces.
- Joint Commission and CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services) standards related to facility operations and patient safety.
- State-specific Department of Health regulations for clinical spaces.
- Conduct routine site inspections and audits to identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop and implement facility-related policies and procedures that align with healthcare safety and compliance requirements.
- Tenant Improvements, Capital Projects & New Clinic Acquisitions :
- Oversee tenant improvement projects, renovations, and clinic build-outs, ensuring compliance with healthcare-specific design and safety standards.
- Work closely with clinical operations, contractors, architects, and engineers to ensure adherence to infection control guidelines, proper ventilation, and medical equipment infrastructure needs.
- Work with clinical operations to assist in space planning and layout optimization to support clinical workflows, patient privacy, and infection prevention strategies.
- Evaluate potential clinic acquisitions for facility condition, compliance issues, and necessary upgrades to meet HealthyU operational and regulatory standards.
- Work closely with senior leadership clinical operations to create a safe and effective timeline for and TIs or maintenance issues that may cause a hinderance in clinical operations.
- Manage facility onboarding for new clinics, ensuring seamless integration into HealthyU compliance and maintenance programs.
- Vendor, Lease, Sublease & Budget Management :
- Manage vendor relationships, including maintenance providers, janitorial services, and contractors, ensuring compliance with healthcare-specific and state-specific facility standards.
- Working with Senior Leadership and key stakeholders collaboratively to create sublease agreements for MSO providers.
