Description :
The Physician Liaison will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships in the community and with referring healthcare providers / healthcare related groups. This position will work collaboratively with the business development team and clinical staff to help expand our network, grow patient volume, and increase our overall brand awareness in the community.
This role requires daily travel to outside referring offices, events, community organizations, and visits with HealthyU Clinics providers.
- Identify and target key healthcare providers, healthcare related groups, and community organizations.
- Work closely with HealthyU providers and specialists to develop referral network.
- Travel frequently within community; scheduling meetings, business entertainment, educational offerings and special events with contacts / referral sources.
- Maintain a working knowledge of all provider specialties, referral patterns, and competitors.
- Facilitate and coordinate opportunities for clinical staff interaction with key physicians, healthcare related groups, or community organizations.
- Manage database of contact information; preferences, protocols and special requests for all contacts / referral sources / and community organizations.
- Develop and communicate weekly plans to effectively target customers.
- Manage and coordinate community outreach events, including health fairs, patient education events, and other promotional events.
- Collaborate with marketing team and assist with the creation of digital and print tools that promote the company's products or services.
- Support the marketing department's initiatives with development and execution of marketing programs such as email, events, social media, or content creation.
- Other duties as assigned.
