Dispensing Audiologist

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Audiologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing comprehensive hearing evaluations and treating hearing loss in adult patients by providing customized amplification solutions. This role requires a personable, kind individual with strong counseling and customer service skills. Salary commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive diagnostic hearing evaluations.

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
• Provide counseling and education to patients and their families regarding hearing health.
• Fit and dispense hearing aids and other assistive listening devices.
• Maintain accurate patient records using computerized systems.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including Physicians and Otolaryngologists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in audiology practices and technologies.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills to manage patient appointments and follow-ups effectively.

Experience

• A Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) or CCC-A is required.
• Au.D. externship candidates welcome to apply.
• Licensed as an Audiologist in NYS.
• Registered with NYS to dispense hearing aids.
• Previous experience in customer service roles is highly valued, as well as any sales experience related to healthcare products.
• Strong organizational skills are necessary for managing multiple patient cases efficiently.
• Strong counseling skills.

Pay: From $80,507.00 per year
