JOB TITLE: Audiology assistant - Miles City location
PAY RANGE: $16-18/hour base pay, depending on experience, plus up to $5200 in bonus pay annually. Potential for significant advancement for the right candidate.
JOB TYPE: Full-time, 8:00-5:00 Monday-Friday

DESCRIPTION:
Primary responsibilities include patient care, supporting diagnostic and treatment procedures, charting and patient education, as well as administrative duties. Specific duties include:
- Patient instruction and counseling on hearing loss and hearing aids
- Conducting hearing pass/fail screenings without interpretation
- Conducting cognitive screenings
- Performing non-diagnostic otoscopy
- Hearing aid cleaning, troubleshooting, and repair
- Providing hearing aid counseling for patients and caregivers, including the use of apps and hearing aid accessories, plus pairing devices with Bluetooth and apps
- Performing listening checks on hearing aids, performing electroacoustic analyses of devices
- Managing office supplies and tracking trial hearing aid inventory
- Electronic ordering, verifying orders upon arrival to ensure components are present and working correctly
- Scheduling patient appointments
- Performing insurance benefits checks
- Responding to routine inquiries from patients
- Assisting patients, visitors, and others requesting information
- Management of infection control, patient safety, and clinical supplies for the audiology clinic
- Maintenance of clean, disinfected instrumentation, equipment, and work surfaces in the clinic
- Ability to solve problems or make decisions regarding hearing aid, hearing assistive technology and patient care, consistent with the documented and co-signed plan of care under the supervision of the audiologist, ensure all documentation is in order
- Assisting with social media
- Tracking relevant statistics and using the data for planning purposes
QUALIFICATIONS:

- Availability during all business hours (except lunch) is critical
