About the Position: We are seeking a full-time Audiology Assistant with the opportunity to grow into a position of a Hearing Instrument Specialist. This is a unique opportunity for an individual who is looking for a long-term career in the hearing healthcare industry. This position will involve the opportunity for in-house training and education and will cover the cost of any outside training/education as needed.

In this position, you will be:
- Provide support to our Hearing Healthcare Providers
- Assist front desk with scheduling, answering the phones, and providing technical information for patients
- Order and maintain inventory for hearing instruments, supplies, and equipment
- Perform electroacoustic analysis of hearing instruments as needed
- Perform equipment listening check and calibration for sound booth, audio equipment, and hearing devices
- Troubleshoot hearing devices and assist with repairs of technology
- Learning about the ear anatomy, auditory system, and hearing devices
- Attending virtual training to ensure the best possibility of passing the state hearing instrument specialist exam to become a licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist
- Receiving hands on practical experience with testing hearing and fitting and programming hearing aids with our Licensed Hearing Healthcare Providers (Audiologist and Hearing Instrument Specialist)
- Be willing to travel between northern Missouri locations for hands-on training as needed

- Willing to learn on the job and through paid virtual training to obtain a Missouri Hearing Instrument Specialist license within 6-18 months of employment
