You’ll drive a well-equipped company truck with a state-of-the-art mobile hearing testing unit to industrial locations throughout the Midwest, helping businesses meet OSHA-mandated safety requirements and protecting employee health.

Responsibilities
- Drive mobile unit to client location
- Set up equipment, calibrating it to industry standards
- Conduct OSHA mandated PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) Training
- Facilitate OSHA mandated hearing testing and respiratory fit testing.
- Clean mobile unit after testing each small group
- Review collected data to ensure it is complete and valid according to industry regulations
- Securely transmit the data back to the HTI office
- Conduct final cleaning after each client testing is complete to ensure mobile unit is ready for the next client
Paid training will ensure you can:
- Understand the requirements of hearing conversation and respiratory testing programs
- Administer the appropriate questionnaires to obtain physiological documentation (noise exposure, health history, etc.)
- Perform audiometric (hearing) tests and respirator fit tests and can explain the test results.
- Accurately capture report data for client use in meeting their OSHA obligations as well as protecting their employees safety
Qualifications: You must live in the Olathe, KS area and have an interest in Industrial Safety to be considered for this job.
To apply for this job, you must meet the following minimum qualifications:
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Must be 25 years old and possess a valid driver’s license
- Have the ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
- Possess basic computer skills, be willing to learn industry-specific software, and have strong attention to details
- Must be able to lift and rotate up to 50 lbs. for mobile unit set up and daily maintenance, including as changing tires when needed, and being very comfortable with computers, including troubleshooting.
- Be a motivated, self-starter with the ability to work independently in the field
- Adaptable, positive attitude and enjoy working with a variety of people in multiple locations
- Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude
- Willing to provide proof of U.S. employment eligibility
- Must achieve accreditation as a Certified Occupational Hearing Conservationist within 90 days of hire. (Certification class is paid for you; you must pass the class)

Typical Work Week and Schedule
As a Hearing Conservation Specialist at Hearing Testing Inc., you’ll enjoy a dynamic workweek that combines travel, variety, and independence, all while staying grounded with weekends at home.
Each week, you’ll travel to different industrial sites across the Midwest, often starting early to accommodate shifts that run 24/7, including testing 3rd shift workers before transitioning to 1st and 2nd shifts.
